Surrey Under 40s Ramblers Group

After a long and cold Winter, it seems that Spring is finally on its way. The days are getting longer, I’m actually seeing daylight both before and after work. There are catkins on trees, crocuses are just opening, daffodils will soon follow and the one of the frogs in my pond has spawned. It’s also time for the new Spring programme.

Spring programme

We experienced a number of technical glitches compiling this programme which resulted in the delay in producing it. Normally we try to produce the programme and distribute it a week or so before the last programme runs out. We’ve got a good range of walks and social event on including a number of Ale Trails, pub nights and A Night at the Races.

Easter trip

Venturing further afield there is also the Easter in the Peak District being organised by Chris and Fi. You’ll need to arrange your own accommodation but there’s still plenty of time so if you’d like to attend, let them know.

It seems to be that a number of people are not receiving the programme or the monthly newsletter. If you think you should be receiving the programme, please contact me and our membership secretary, Andrew Sillitoe, it may be that we have the wrong email address for you.
