I hope that everyone managed in the snowfall that the country experienced in the first half of January. Walks still went ahead as planned and Iâd just like to thank those who led the walks and those who managed to reach the start points. I think you'll agree that walking in the snow is at once beautiful but challenging...(where did that path go?!)

Spring programme

Volunteers requested

Further to last month's request for volunteers to help with the running of the Ramblers General Council at the Royal Holloway College, Egham on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April 2010, I have received the attached document giving more details of the roles that need filling. SURG has been asked if we can provide a number of volunteers to assist in the running of the event. If you think you can help, please contact Graham Butler at the email address given.
