About organising socials and trips
Socials
Our socials programme includes a range of events, from pub nights, group outings to festivals and exhibitions, and our annual BBQ and Barn Dance. And if you'd like to venture a little farther afield, we also organise walking weekends.
To enjoy our socials and holidays you need to be a member of SURG, but you can get a taste of our social life by joining us for a drink at one of our regular Pub Nights For All. They're very informal, and a great chance to meet members of the group and find out more about us.

Hikefest 2008
Meet up with other 20s and 30s Ramblers members from around the country for a fantastic weekend of walking and socialising.

Pub Night For All
Everyone welcome – old members, new members and prospective members alike. If you're an old hand, come along an meet your friends in the group for a drink. Or if you don’t know us, join us to find out more about the group and what we do.
Meet: From 7.45pm at Leatherhead station, or from 8pm in the pub
